I found Sean through a friend's recommendation and followed by going to a nutrition seminar run by him that I saw on Facebook.
Having trained for a number of years I had hit a plateau with respect to my training programme, muscle gain and fat loss. I was growing tired of my training despite constantly looking up new ideas and I needed a new challenge and style of training to give me something to aspire to achieve again. I wanted to increase muscle and reduce body fat.
I had no barriers to starting training other than them being a new team that I had not heard of previously based in a different gym to my own. I simply did not know about the studio until I was recommended to train with there.
My first impressions were that it was tough! Diet as they say contributes 80% of a training programme with 20% being the gym time itself.
Managing diet requires time, patience and moreover advanced planning, far more than I had anticipated. Will power and discipline are a must when it is so much easier to take the quick option. It can be tough and more expensive than a regular diet but you do quickly see the results after the initial struggle. The biggest challenge is to say "no" when family and friends want you to join in and social eating becomes very difficult!
