I originally found out about Sean and find your fitness via a promotional flyer. I went to see Sean because I wanted to get in shape for my wedding and honeymoon. I wanted to lose the 'beer belly' that seemed to have appeared from nowhere and get toned up for the beach.
The biggest goal I had to overcome was thinking I didn't have the time to train or the knowledge to eat more healthily. I always used the excuse that work is too busy, I need to do xyz in the evening or I don't have the time to prepare a healthy meal.
My first impression of my nutrition plan was “bloody hell is there anything I can still eat!!” And my second was “am I going to enjoy eating ever again!!” The good news was this soon changed as I got accustomed to what I could and couldn't eat and now I do enjoy eating healthily.
In terms of my training my initial thoughts were just how unfit I really was and that doing a bit of walking now and again won't achieve much. The plan Sean did for me originally was to shred the fat and lose the weight as I didn't realise at the time you can't turn fat in to muscle so you need to get rid of the fat first and build the muscle up as well.
At the end of my first 12 week program I lost nearly 5 inches off of my waist and for the first time in over ten years could fit in to a 32 inch waist trouser and needed a belt to hold them up!!
