On top of personal training there is also nutritional coaching on offer. Most of the personal training packages available come with nutritional programming but if you are confident exercising on your own and just need some accountability and the right nutrition program for you then this is available as a standalone service.
Exercising alone will not get you the body you want or ensure that you stay healthy. Nutrition is a huge part of staying in shape and disease free. The nutrition programs are designed to educate you on what, when and why to eat for your particular body type, so that you can regulate your own diet for the rest of your life. You won’t follow any fad diets, starve yourself or be prescribed any bogus pills or powders as these categorically do not work in the short or long term.
You will simply work with your trainer to dispel all nutritional myths you may have heard or misinformation you may have been subjected to. There are no quick fixes, but I can promise that with our long experience of working with many different people, with different schedules and home lives, we can make it as painless and enjoyable as possible. And, most importantly, help you to achieve long lasting results and even help you to start influencing people around you to become healthier. We will give you all of the tools you need to make it happen.
Mind-set is key to success and achieving the body and state of health that you want. From my own experience and many others, it has been concluded that three things need to be in place:
The client (you) needs to have clear goals.
I have worked with many people who are unclear about their goals. I have met many people who are in a permanent state of disempowerment because they are waiting for someone to tell them what to do. How goals are constructed is important, but when done well, they are highly motivating and focussing. During your initial free consultation your trainer will help you to set clear, realistic and measurable goals.
The client needs to be thinking positively and resourcefully about themselves and their own competence.
You need to be able to believe you can achieve what you want to achieve and be robust enough to overcome setbacks. Your trainer will help you through those initial steps when implementing your new diet and exercise regime seems so difficult. And as your competence and confidence grows so too does your self-belief. This makes it so much more likely that you will succeed and achieve your goals.
The client needs to know what to do next.
The next step is identifying a clear program and strategy to follow in order to achieve the results you want and need. Your personal trainer will work out an exercise and nutrition program for you to suit your body type, work and home life. This is the difficult part, the part where you have to follow through and do what you need to do. This is where most people typically fail, but with a clear goal, the right program and your trainer to help and encourage you along the way, you are a lot more likely to succeed in your efforts and get the body and health you want.
A single 1 to 1 personal training session. Useful if you are struggling with a particular exercise or set of exercises.
Four 1 to 1 personal training sessions. Good if you need a bit more help and you want to be shown a number of exercsie techniques.
Includes an 6-8 week exercise program.
Eight 1 to 1 personal training sessions. Can be scheduled whenever you want 1-5 times per week. Includes:
An 8-10 week exercise program.
A full nutrition program.
Twelve 1 to 1 personal training sessions. Can be scheduled whenever you want 1-5 times per week. Includes:
